| Wednesday, October 22, 2008 | | 2009 ASA Late Model Series Registration Now Open | 2009 ASA Late Model Series Registration Now Open.
The ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts is ready to head into 2009. It has been a tremendous season for the series and the teams. The only remaining event of the season is ‘The King’s Ransom 300’ at Memphis Motorsports Park. This event will be held on November 14th and 15th and it should be a real blockbuster.
We are pleased to be able to invite our teams to compete with us for another season in 2009. We will begin registration for the current registered teams today and those teams will have until November 15th to renew their numbers before we open them up to new teams. 2009 License Application link http://www.asalatemodelssouth.com/pdfs/09license_01.pdf. You can also visit the download section on all three websites for the application.
The divisions that are open for registration are ASA Late Model Series Challenge, North and South. For those teams that are looking for a schedule, please contact the office and we will give you our tentative dates as the re-scheduling of events is still ongoing.
We are looking at many of the same venues for the 2009 season as well as a few new to us. It is always a great thing to add variety and variance to make sure we do not become complacent and continue to grow as an experienced skilled series. With the 2008 season in the books we can now put our full focus on gearing up for 2009 and the great things to come.
We would also like to announce that the Annual Banquet date has been revised to January 9th and 10th as not to walk on the CRA Annual event that will be held this year on January 23rd and 24th at SGMP. I apologize for any inconvenience but it is important that we all try to work together in this industry to help each other in their success. The banquet will be held in Toledo, Ohio on January 9th and 10th this season and details will be out soon.
To find out more about our upcoming season check back to our site at www.asalatemodels.com, www.asalatemodelsnorth.com, www.asalatemodelsnorth.com. We are working towards once again having thebest teams, partners and tracks as part of our 2009 program and will continue to grow as ‘America’s Premier Short Track Series”
