Jason White looked to build some momentum at Talladega and while not having the benefit of a great starting position Jason and the 08 GunBroker.com truck were very strong in the draft. After a debris caution on lap 20 Jason restarted in the 14th position.

The event had an uncharacteristic long green flag run, that included what Talladega is famous for, a pack of 30 trucks running in a tight bumper to bumper draft. White continued to work the high and low lines searching for a drafting partner and the right opportunity to move towards the front.

On lap 50 he had worked himself up as high as the 9th position, only to have the day end due to a mechanical failure which took White out of the event.

The Talladega event marked round 20 of 25 on the season and moved White into the 20th place position in driver points just behind driver Donny Lia who won the event at Mansfield earlier this year.
