SS Green Light Racing looks to continue building momentum with Sean Murphy behind the wheel for the second weekend in a row following a top 20 run in Las Vegas. This Saturday's Mountain Due 250 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event will hit the high banks of Talladega at 3:30 Eastern Time. Sean Murphy will pilot the #07 ASI LIMITED; Akzo Nobel; Spectrum Metal Finishing Chevy for his second visit to the track where two years ago Murphy was running in the top 15 when until the engine expired. Co- Owner Bobby Dotter said “Sean is very comfortable in the draft and we are hopeful for a solid finish”.
“I’m excited, Talladega is a fun place to run”, said Sean Murphy Driver of the #07 ASI Limited Chevrolet. “We raced there 2 years ago and ran real well. I’m also looking forward to getting back to back weekends in the truck.”
The Talladega event will mark round 20 of 25 on the season, it is also one of the fastest tracks on the circuit. Talladega Superspeedway is a 2.66-mile tri-oval course with the turns banked at 33 degrees. It has long been known as “Nascar’s most competitive track”.
