Matt Miller Finishes 2nd in Eldora Tuneup, World 100 up Next

WATERVILLE, OH (September 3, 2008)- Matt Miller and the Stephen McCullough owned team competed at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, OH this past Sunday in a $3,000 to win ALMS event as a tune up for this weekends World 100 at the same track. Matt would start the night off by setting fast time out of the 42 cars entered. Matt would finish 2nd in his heat race to Billy Moyer. In the feature Matt would fall into second place behind Moyer and would run there the entire distance coming home 2nd at the checkers.

"It was a good run for us but we were just a little off of Moyer's pace. Still to finish 2nd at Eldora is a solid run for us. Hopefully we can get one position better for this weekend's World 100. I've won the Dream and just about every other late model race except the World 100 so it would be nice to get that trophy", stated Matt. Matt and the Larry Moring Motorsports Team will travel to Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, OH this weekend and compete in the biggest dirt late model event of the year the World 100. Friday will be time trials and Saturday will consist of heat races, last chance races and the 100-lap feature event paying $41,000 to the winner.

As a Team Sunoco driver Matt will participate in the Sunoco Race Fuels pre-race show on Friday September 5th at Eldora Speedway. The Sunoco Pre-Race Show presented by Dirt on Dirt will take place from 2-5pm Friday outside of turn four just in front of the pond. Matt Miller will also have a new t-shirt design at the World 100.
