WATERVILLE, OH (July 16, 2008)- Matt Miller and the DSI Racing Team competed in two UMP Summer Nationals events this past weekend winning the series finale at Oakshade Raceway in Matt's home state of Ohio. Matt started 6th in the feature event and passed leader Jeep Van Wormer with 20 laps to go and went onto to win the UMP Summer Nationals finale and the $10,000 first place prize. The night before Matt and the DSI Racing Team competed at Brownstown Indiana in another UMP Summer Nationals event. Matt finished 14th in the final run down.

"It was a big win for me and this team since McCullough decided to put this team back together. It was also great to win close to home and in front of my family and friends that have supported my career. My car just got better the longer the race went on and once I got the lead I knew it would be hard to beat us. We've been running good just about everywhere only to suffer bad luck that hurt us from getting good finishes. Tonight we put it all together with a great car and no bad luck", stated Matt.

Matt will again be piloting the Stephen McCullough owned car this weekend and compete at Florence Speedway in Union City Kentucky for a $3,000 to win feature event. Matt and the team will be using this event to tune up for the upcoming Sunoco North/South 100 at Florence Speedway that will pay $50,000 to win.
