HUNTSVILLE, AL–The O’Reilly Southern All Stars and the promoters of Swainsboro, Oglethorpe and Screven have agreed to cancel the Fourth of July Tr iple Crown Weekend that was set for July 3, 4 and 5. Citing tough economic troubles that have hit the country and attendance being down at the facilities over the past few weeks due to the high fuel prices, race fans have very little extra money to spend on race events right and all the parties agreed to the cancellation.

However the race at Swainsboro will be rescheduled on Friday night September 12th with Screven to make it a doubleheader weekend with both events paying $5,000 to win.

The next event for the O’Reilly Southern All Stars will the Thunder in the Mountains Tour on July 18, 19 and 20, a triple crown event that will take place at North Georgia Speedway, Cleveland Speedway and Rome Speedway. All three events will pay $5,000 to win.
