Sean Murphy Returns to Truck Series at Mansfield

ASA Late Model Series Rookie of the Year, Sean Murphy, will pilot the #07 ASI LIMITED; Akzo Nobel; Spectrum Metal Finishing Chevy this Saturday for the Ohio 250 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Mansfield Motorsports Park. Murphy is making a return to the Truck Series after spending the past year racing in the ASA Late Model Series, where he picked up several poles, track records and the coveted Pat Burdow Memorial Rookie of the Year title last year.

is year he's raced 3 events and has won all of them. Murphy knows the truck series is the 3rd highest level of NASCAR and his upcoming challenge at Mansfield will not be easy. "The Truck Series is very tough competition," said Murphy. "There are teams with bigger budgets and greater resources than I'll have. But I am still confident that we can have a good run. The short tracks are a bit more of an even playing field and I really like Mansfield even though it's been several years since I've raced there."

Jason White Looks for Top Run with Short-Track Race Driver of the #08 GunBroker.com Dodge, Jason White, will be looking for a solid finish at Mansfield Motorsports Park. In his last short-track race at Martinsville Speedway, White was sitting in 11th and pressuring for a top ten. A red flag stopped the event and his race truck ran out of fuel on the restart sending him back to 26th. He's looking forward to capturing a top finish at Mansfield. "I think we have a good short track program," said White. "It's going to be an opportunity for us to have a good finish. It's a fun track with great
race fans, so I'm really looking forward to this race."
