ASHEBORO, NC -May 9, 2008- Rockingham’s Randy Benson has been declared the official winner of the 100 Lap NASCAR Late Model Stock event this past Saturday. After the win his cam shaft was confiscated for technical inspection. It was found to be legal, thus giving him his third win of the season. The next Late Model Stock event will be on Saturday May 24th with a 100 lap feature.

Coming up Friday will be the first of four 150 lap V-6 Enduros. Also on hand will be Twin 35 Lap Late Model Super Trucks, Street Stocks, Legends and U-Cars. Grandstands open at 6pm and the racing action will begin at 8pm. Directions: Take US 220 Bypass to the Spero Road Exit and Follow the signs.
