Reaid is GAS Series Five Star Rookie of the Year

Atlanta, GA - With one event still left in the 2008 Georgia Asphalt Series season, Acworth, Georgia's T.J. Reaid has captured the 2008 GAS Series Five Star Race Bodies Rookie of the Year Championship. Reaid has had a tremendous year with 5 Bearden Oil Company Pole Positions and a win at New Senoia Raceway in August. Reaid only finished out of the top ten two times over the season.

The personable Reaid is in his first year of late model racing. The eighteen year old started his racing career at age 12 moving through the Legends ranks. Reaid comes from a racing family. His father Tony, has race dirt late models throughout North Georgia for several years.

The next GAS Series event is Saturday, October 4th at Peach State Speedway in Jefferson, Georgia. Race time is 6:00PM.
