| G.R. Smith Opens Up His 2007 Campaign at Volusia | By Ryan Delph – Delph Communications
MOORESVILLE, NC -February 2, 2007- G.R. Smith and his Premier Motorsports team will open up their much anticipated 2007 racing season at the Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida during ‘Raceweeks 2007.’ The Daytona Beach area oval will host six nights of Dirt Late Model racing action from February 12-17.
Three $5,000 to win shows and a trio of $10,000 to win events highlight the week at VSP. Both UMP Dirtcar Racing and the 360 OTC World of Outlaws Late Model Series will sanction events during the week at Volusia. “I am anxious to get the 2007 racing season underway at Volusia,” commented G.R. today via telephone. “Everyone at Premier Motorsports has worked hard this off-season getting our program ready to hit the road this year. We don’t know if we will follow any particular series at this point, but we will definitely do more traveling than we did last year. I think I learned a lot from my first year of Dirt Late Model racing and I am looking forward to getting back on the track.”
