ARKADELPHIA, AL -February 1, 2007- River Valley Speedway will hold its open practice on Saturday, February 24, 2007. All of the New Staff for 2007 will be on hand to answer any questions and to get acquainted with the drivers and fans.
For this open practice event River Valley Speedway invites race fans and all of the regular division drivers, Late Model Stock/Crate, Open Wheel Modifieds, Super Street, Street Stock, Modified Pony, Pure Pony and Buzz Cars, including Super Late Models.
Dixie Slingshots will be making their debut appearance testing their cars on the “Smoothest Track In The South”.
River Valley Speedway is honored to have the O’Rielly United Mini Sprints for their 2007 Test and Tune on this same date. This will truly be a great way to start off the 2007 Race Season for the Drivers and Fans.
Gates will open at 10:00 A.M. and we will be open until every driver is finished. Admission is $5.00.
Fans are extended an invitation to attend this fun event and enjoy all the festivities. Come on and have of taste of what is in store for the 2007 Race Season. Live Music Entertainment of Eddie McCann will be performing Country Music and Classic Rock before we start the open practice session and during breaks for everyone’s enjoyment. 50/50 – Split the Pot Tickets will also be available.
Track Concessions will be open serving everyone's favorite track foods, hot chocolate, soft drinks and warm coffee.
