MCDOWELL TO RACE FOUR EVENTS AT VOLUSIA, CLINT BOWYER ALSO SCHEDULED TO COMPETE

Delph Communications

CHICKAMAUGA, GA -February 1, 2007- Dale McDowell, of Chickamauga, Georgia, will open up his version of the 2007 racing season at the Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida from February 14-17. The driver known as the "MacDaddy" in the Dirt Late Model circle will only compete in the final four events of "Raceweeks 2007" at the Daytona Beach area oval because of his hectic schedule with Richard Childress Racing. Dale will be in Florida throughout the month of February, but mainly to fulfill his obligations as head of RCR's Driver Development Program.

Both UMP Dirtcar Racing and the 360 OTC World of Outlaws Late Model Series will sanction shows at Volusia Speedway Park during "Raceweeks 2007." Dale will enter the $5,000 to win UMP show on February 14 before competing in a trio of $10,000 to win events to round out the week. NASCAR and Busch Series competitor Clint Bowyer is scheduled to drive Dale's Dirt Late Model on February 12 & 13 at Volusia. Clint, who finished seventeenth on the NASCAR Nextel Cup tour and third in the NASCAR Busch Series last year, will tackle the 1/2-mile oval in search of some valuable dirt experience. More information on these events can be found online at www.volusiaspeedwaypark.com and www.woolms.com .

TENTATIVE UPCOMING SCHEDULE:
February 12 | Volusia (FL) Speedway Park, UMP, $5,000 to win (Clint Bowyer)
February 13 | Volusia (FL) Speedway Park, UMP, $5,000 to win (Clint Bowyer)
February 14 | Volusia (FL) Speedway Park, UMP, $5,000 to win (Dale McDowell)
February 15 | Volusia (FL) Speedway Park, WoO, $10,000 to win (Dale McDowell)
February 16 | Volusia (FL) Speedway Park, UMP, $10,000 to win (Dale McDowell)
February 17 | Volusia (FL) Speedway Park, WoO, $10,000 to win (Dale McDowell)

"It has been pretty hectic around here at RCR lately, so I am really looking forward to getting down to Florida and getting to the track," commented McDowell today. "I will be busy helping Austin (Dillon) throughout the month of February, so I won't be able to race much myself. We are taking three legends cars, two Dirt Late Models, and a Modified to Florida, so it will probably be just as hectic down there at the track as it has been here at the shop."
