Lakeland, FL -January 28, 2007- On behalf of the entire ASA Late Model Series family, a huge congratulatioons goes out to Wheaton, Illinois veteran, Eddie Hoffman on winning the Speedfest 200 on Saturday January 27, 2007 at the USA (FL) International Speedway in Lakeland, Florida and proudly representing the 11 drivers of the 50 on hand with ties to the ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts.
Hoffman held off fellow ASALMS competitor and Michigan Motorsports Hall of Famer, Butch Miller on the final restart with four laps to go after race leaders, Ben Rowe and Jay Middleton, another driver with ties to the ASALMS, crashed out.
