| Thursday, January 25, 2007 | | | Evernham Motorsports Signs Kevin Swindell | Evernham Motorsports has named Kevin Swindell as the newest member of its Driver Development Program.
The 17-year-old from Germantown, Tenn. is the son of legendary three-time National Sprint Car Champion, Sammy Swindell and has quickly begun making a name for himself on the track. He has enjoyed 65 wins over the course of his 12- year career.
Swindell spent the last two years racing in the United Sprint Car Series and World of Outlaw Series, where he has accumulated two distinct records. In 2006, at the age of 16, he became the youngest driver to win a World of Outlaws feature event.
