Port City Race Cars, Port City Racing, and Port City Racing South all set to return for the Fifth Anniversary 2007 Season in the ASA Late Model Series Challenge Division.

Lexington, Michigan -January 10, 2007- The ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts home offices in Lexington, Michigan are preparing for the much anticipated Fifth Anniversary 2007 Season. Both new and returning sponsors alike are lining up outside the front door at the home offices in Lexington, Michigan and are supporting the drivers and teams of the ASALMS for the 2007 season in all three divisions.

One of the original sponsors and supporters of the ASALMS back in the days of the USPRO Cup Series in 2003 is once again back on board utilizing their entities in their support of the ASALMS. Port City Racing, who was instrumental in the development of the original USPRO Cup Series rules during the initial 2002 Meetings in Lansing, Michigan will once again be a major part of the ASALMS within all three divisions in the 2007 season.

Port City remains an integral of the Participating Manufacturers Program (PMP). Not only is Port City Race Cars continuing their support of the ASALMS Challenge Division, but Port City Racing (ASALMS Northern Division) and Port City Racing South (ASALMS Southern Division) will also show their support within all three divisions of the ASALMS as part of the PMP.

"Harley Boeve and the entire Port City crew have been an instrumental part of the ASALMS since our USPRO Cup Series days and is a mainstay in the ASALMS. It's a real privilege that Port City is back on board for the Fifth Anniversary Season!" Stated ASALMS Founder/President Ron Varney. "It's just great to have their support in all three divisions once again. We really appreciate the loyalty and dedication that Harley has with us these last four seasons. It's immeasurable, you just can't find that kind of dedication anymore nowadays." He added.

In addition, Port City Racing along-with McGunegill Engine Performance will co present the 2007 ASALMS Drivers/Owners Meeting on Saturday morning, January 20, 2007 at the Clarion Hotel and Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky as part of the ASALMS Awards Banquet Weekend.

2. Penske Racing Shocks back on board for the 2007 season as part of the Participating Manufacturers Program (PMP) in the ASALMS Challenge and Northern Divisions.

Lexington, Michigan (01/10/2007): Penske Racing Shocks and the ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts have once again partnered for the upcoming Fifth Anniversary 2007 season. Penske will once again be a part of the Participating Manufacturers Program (PMP) in both the ASALMS Challenge and Northern Divisions for the upcoming 2007 campaign.

Lexington, Michigan (01/10/2007): The next official event for the ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts will be the 2006 ASALMS Awards Banquet and 2007 ASALMS Drivers/Owners Meeting, both are set for Saturday January 20, 2007 at the Clarion Hotel and Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky.

Tickets are going fast asnd they must be ordered by TODAY Wednesday January 10, 2007 so that the ASALMS can get a head count and also finalize seating arrangements. Attendance is mandatory for teams receiving Points Finds Winnings. Tickets for the banquet must be purchased in advance through the ASALMS Home Offices in Lexington, Michigan.

Please fill out your banquet request form and send it back to the ASALMS Office by TODAY Wednesday January 10, 2007 to reserve your table; Teams can plan for a full weekend of activity starting with the 2007 ASALMS Meet and Greet Presented by GM Performance Parts and Ford Racing on Friday, January 19, 2007 in the Clarion Cocktail Lounge Christy's Grille & Bar. The Meet and greet will begin at 7:00pm and last until closing.

On Saturday, January 20, 2007, it all begins at 9:30am with the 2007 Drivers/Owners Meeting Presented by Port City Racing and McGunegill Engine Performance for all divisions. This informative meeting will run from 9:30am until 1:00pm with a break at approximately 11:15am. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend this meeting. Much of the 2007 programs will be discussed at this meeting and team participation is encouraged.

This meeting will be open for all three divisions and its' participants and the ASALMS management and staff encourages all teams that plan on running with any of the three traveling series in 2007 to attend or send a representative to the meeting.
