Atlanta, GA - The pre-entries for the O'Reilly United Sprint Car Series 1st Annual North Florida Winternationals is already heating up. The O'Reilly USCS Office has received a number of pre-entries for the North Florida Speedway Winternationals slated for February 1st through 3rd at the 4/10 mile oval located near Lake City, Florida. Pre-entries have been received from drivers from 14 states and provinces including; Arkansas, Florida, Delaware, Georgia, Mississippi, Louisiana, Nebraska, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas and Canada.
Early entries include five-time O'Reilly USCS National Champion, Terry Gray from Bartlett, Tennessee plus two-time (2000 and 2005) O'Reilly USCS National Champion, Kenny Adams from Malabar, Florida and 1999 series champion, Marshall Skinner from West Memphis, Arkansas.
Other top entries include 2006 O'Reilly USCS Most Improved Driver, 23 year-old Tom Winegardner, Jr. from Pierson, Florida who finished third in the 2006 National standings and seventeen year-old Matt Tiffany from Daytona Beach, Florida. The 2005 series Rookie of the Year Bryn Gohn from Malabar, Florida and 2006 Rookie of the Year, Derek Hagar from Marion, Arkansas. Midwest hotshoe, Mike Chadd from Lincoln Nebraska and Ronnie Blair who won the Dirt Track World Championship race at Lowes Dirt Track in November are also entered.
Friday's prelim A-Main pays 41500 to win and Saturday night's finale will be worth $2500 to the victor. Additional bonuses are posted that bring the weekend total to a possible $5000 to win.
