Vienna, WV- Steve Shaver is proud to announce that he will be joining forces with Sean Cosgrove Racing (SCR) and Drywall Systems Inc. of Catharpin, VA for the 2006 racing season. The new teammates will utilize Hershey Racing Engines, Draime Racing Engines, Rocket Chassis, and Penske Racing Shocks by SCR. In addtion, the 2006 season will see Shaver return for his 21 st season with his “Dirty Thirty” #30 after three years with the #0 and Bill Bland Motorsports .

"I am very happy to announce our plans for the 2006 season" stated Shaver. "Sean is great to work with and I am glad that fate put us together for the 2006 season. I personally feel that we will start off the 2006 season as prepared as we've ever been. The plan is to pool all of our resources together to make both the #30 and #64 cars perform better next year."

"Steve has a tremendous amount of knowledge about these LateModel Dirt cars, that will help advance my learning curve dramatically." admitted Cosgrove.

During 2005, Cosgrove contacted Steve about running his Penske Racing Shocks that he custom builds. Steve recorded 6 wins during the 2005 season on the shocks by SCR. "Steve was our housecar during the 2005 season and his twentyone years of experience gave me the feedback that I needed." stated Cosgrove."One of the many things that we are working on with our newly formed team is to continue to improve our product and keep our Customers up to speed"

Shaver and Cosgrove will travel together and race as much as time permits. During the week, Cosgrove runs his successful business, Drywall Systems Inc. "I plan on racing with Steve as much as work permits. Sometimes I won't be able to get away, other times I will."

Shaver and Cosgrove have established a stable business plan for the 2006 season, but will continue to seek additional sponsorship to aid for both cars. According to Shaver,” Both cars will run the same schemes and colors, which in turn will offer sponsors more exposure than helping with a one car outfit. A real unique marketing opportunity."
