Cleveland Speedway cancels Lamar Lowery Memorial

Cleveland, TN -December 5, 2005- Cleveland Speedway announced today that the Lamar Mowery Memorial that was scheduled for this Saturday December 10 has been cancelled.

"With the weather forecast for colder than usual weather through the weekend we decided to not put our fans, competitors and staff through another cold night at the speedway," said Cleveland promoter Monty Morrow. "We would like to thank everyone for their support this season and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year."

The 2006 season at Cleveland Speedway will open in March. During the off season visit ClevelandSpeedway.com on a regular basis as we will be posting information, including the 2006 schedules, rules and other information on the upcoming season.
