Denver, NC - Beaver Motor Sports has announced that in the upcoming 2006 race season, they plan to run the Southern All Stars Dirt Late Model East Super late Model Series, as well as some select other big money paying events in and around the Southeast.
The BMS team will be fielding a 2006 Barry Wright Race Cars for Phillip Seifert of Spartanburg SC. Seifert joined the team in late 2005 in the GM crate engine Late Model division and picked up several wins at Cherokee Super Speedway in Gaffney and Thunder Valley Speedway at Lawndale NC.
"The team and Phillip just clicked right off the bat," said Mark Beaver, owner of Beaver Racing "Amanda and I, as well as the rest of the team, can hardly wait for the 2006 season to get here, and we are not even finished with 2005, " Beaver added.
BMS have somewhat joined forces with Brandon Kinzer Motor Sports and will field similar looking cars for 2006.
"Basically, we will share technical information, regardless if we are at the same track or not. Brandon and his crew are shock geniuses and will be a tremendous help. With him behind us and the success we had in the Crate Late Models we felt like it was time to take the next step." Beaver added.
The BMS team is young, experience wise, but are quick learners and are all itching to take the team up a notch. The team is made up of: Car Owners Amanda and Mark Beaver, Phillip Seifert-Driver, Robert Bramlett-Crew chief, Darren "Big D" Porter- car chief.
Sponsors on the car will be: Barry Wright Race Cars of Cowpens SC, Hoosier Racing Tires of Indiana, VP Racing Fuel, Kinzer Drilling, Gaerte Racing Engines, Village Pantry, Big A Graphics, Beaver Bail Bonds, Shelby NC NC Most Wanted.com., Bounty Hunter Sports Wear and Wa Don Racing of Myrtle Beach SC.
For Seifert, this will be going back to something that he loves, Super Late Models. "After 16 years, this is totally different than anything I have had before, "Seifert says. "I won the points championship at Modoc SC in 2004 and then pretty much called it quits. I couldn't afford to do it on my own.
To have a crew that I can depend on to carry on with business as usual, where I don`t have to be hands on means a lot. I want to say thanks to all the folks that have helped me over the years, from Ricky Weeks, Petey Ivey and Jay Arnett to Roger Turner back in my 4 cylinder days and even now, to my family and friends.
Look for the black, white and purple # 75 Barry Wright car at a track near you in 2006 !!
