CHATSWORTH, GA -November 12, 2005- The Harris Sutton Chevrolet of Chatsworth, GA sponsored the Super Late Model Turkey Rumble 60 lap $5000. race had 33 cars to work down to 24 to start and one to win. Kent Hick set a new track record of 12:29.4 taking the Hicks Specialty Welding Fast Time Award with his Hicks Built Chassis on his first lap out then hitting the wall on his second then with a lot of work was able to start the feature only to return to the pits on lap 52 when him and McPherson were involved in a wreck in turn three.

It was Shane Clanton taking the lead on lap 13 not to look back and starting to lap the field on lap 29. Jonathan Davenport looked as if he was going to move on up but third was best he could manage before dropping back to his eleventh place finish. The back of the field was showing the force as the 16 car of Jeff Rattliff starting next to last on the outside row made his way up to finish in third but it was the 22 car of Robert Gant starting in last place making the best show has he moved up for a second place finish and winning the Hard Charger Award of $100. sponsored by Payless Storage.

The top 10 run down was Shane Clanton, Robert Gant, Jeff Rattliff, Rex Richey, Shane Tankersley, Scott Howard, Ricky Arms, Johnny Chastain, Paul Hollander and Steve Smith. Limited Late Model had Lee Sutton starting on the pole and 2005 Track Champion Brian Burke on the outside. The race starting out looking like it could be anybody's win but it was Brian taking the lead leaving the rest of the field to battle for their positions. Each class had their woes but this was not a woe for Brian it was a go as he took the win over Chuck Padgett, Lee Sutton, Jason Durham, Shannon Bearden, John Ownbey, Leon Brindle, Dusty Martin, Cary Seres, Dennis Collins, Pat Crutchfield, Trig Parris, Bobby Painter, Ricky Hayes, Dennis Nicholson and Michael Weathers. Sportsman when is the winner not the winner? When he goes on a crash diet, as Billy Callahan took the checkered but was light on the scales giving the win to Darel Ownbey followed by Allen Green, Jimmy Price, Roy Smith, Jim Bob Davis, Gabriel Queen, Robby Hair, James Bailey, David Stuart, Sam Parris and Duane Dodson. Hobby was a farmers start as the front row was Donnie Farmer on the inside and his Dad Don Farmer on the outside. Donnie jump to the lead but Don was left to struggle loosing the battle with Larry Higgins but winning the grueling laps with Arva Brooks. When the checkered dropped it was Donnie Farmer, Larry Higgins, Don Farmer, Arva Brooks, Joe Bunch, Jimmy Smith, Joe Pickleseimer, Scott Green, Ivan Shaw, Stacey Wallin, Bo Eaton, Josh Brogdon, Mike Satterfield, Chris Bailey, Jonas Carroll and Tod Hernandez.

With cars from all over the place a lot of them not getting signed in on time and not being able to read some of the names please forgive me if I did not get your name right. (looking at these signatures we must have a lot of doctors racing). Mini Stock returning to NGS was Brad Sain and as well as he does when he runs here it might just pay for him to visit more often. Brad lead all the way fending off Grady Stokes, Matthew Gainer, Ricky Lewis, Donnie Lowe, Jeff Garrett, Talmadge Simpson, Bruce Lovitt, Keith Hinsley, Paul Bunch, Josh Eubanks, Jimmy Elliott, Joseph Cross and Koty Campbell. Street Stock was Arva Lee Brooks leading all the way but it was Chris Powell putting on the show on the back straight as he got airborne and flipped and rolled and totaled his car out on lap 8. When the checkered dropped it was Arva Lee Brooks, Patrick Wilson, Lee Hogan, Chris Powell and Charlie Dye.
