| Saturday, November 5, 2005 | | | 15th Annual Blue Gray 100 Nov. 12th & 13th | Gaffney, SC.- The top Super Late Model drivers from all over the country will return to the fast and famous high banks of Cherokee Super Speedway for the running of the 15th Annual Blue Gray 100.
The Blue Gray race is a prestigious season ending Championship race pitting the best Southern drivers vs. the best Northern drivers. Southern Drivers have dominated the series, winning 12 of the last 14 events. The only Driver from the North to win the Blue Gray title is Dresden Ohio's Donnie Moran. And he was able to grab the trophy twice. Previous winners of the Blue Gray 100 include Scott Bloomquist, the "Southern Gentleman" Freddy Smith, Jeff Cooke, "Catdaddy" Clint Smith, Petey Ivey and Chris "Smokey" Madden. The O'Reilly Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series will sanction this prestigious event.
The Racing season is quickly coming to a close. Drivers and Fans alike hurry to get one more show in before the cold weather hits. They are all in for a treat as Cherokee Speedway will again host a star studded weekend of who's who in Dirt Racing. Several Drivers including the 'Flintstone Flyer' Mike Duvall, Dennis 'Rambo' Franklin, Chris Madden, Jimmy Owens, Ricky Weeks, and many more are expected to be on hand.
Last years Blue Gray 100 race had the fans standing on their feet as Kentucky's Jackie Boggs and South Carolina's own Chris 'Smokey' Madden battled hard in the closing laps. Chris Madden was able to regain the lead and took home the $10,000 prize. He also kept the bragging rights in the South and is eager to defend his title.
Saturday, Nov. 12th will feature Qualifying and Heat race for the Super Late Models, Limited Sportsman, Super Stock 4, Renegade, and Street Stock 4 divisions.
Sunday, Nov.13th will feature the Last Chance Super Late Model Consolation Races and main events for support divisions. The 700 horse-powered Super Late Models will battle 100 laps for $10,000. All support divisions will be racing for increased purses.
Come be a part of history as the drivers of the South once again defend their home turf.
Race fans can expect a professionally ran show with exciting racing and entertainment for all. Cherokee Super Speedway provides a large no-alcohol 'Family section' in the grandstands.

Cherokee Super Speedway is conveniently located directly off I-85 at exit 96 in Gaffney SC. Located 45 miles from Charlotte, NC & Greenville, SC.
Camping is allowed - no power hook-ups.
