Hardee's Street Stock Challenge grows to 12 stops in 2005!!

by Ron Bacelo

Harrisburg, NC - The Hardee's Street Stock Challenge Series (HSSC) had its original 10 race schedule extended today. Orange County Speedway(OCS) officials contacted series owner Ron Bacelo with hopes of still having a chance to jump aboard the list of tracks the HSSC will make visits too. We are very excited to be a part of this growing series stated Rob Israelite OCS Official.

OCS will take two dates with one being a 100 lap double points championship event slated for Labor Day weekend. It will be great to have OCS on the Inaugural 2005 schedule stated Bacelo. Along with OCS comes Lonesome Pine Raceway(LPR) which has sealed a date for September 17th in Coeburn, VA. LPR was one of the first tracks to contact the series in its early stages and promoter Morris Copley has confirmed their spot on the schedule.

We are very excited to have them both on the tour. The series is going to be a big part of short track grass roots racing. If your interested in becoming a part of this fast growing series, please call 704-791-5971 or for questions email them to usrainc@aol.com .
