Super Late Models Twin 50s To Saturday, June 19 At CCS

PUNTA GORDA, Fla. -Thursday Night Thunder has changed to Saturday Night Thunder. With the possibility of a better car count, the Super Late Model Twin 50s scheduled for Thursday, June 17, have been moved to Saturday night, June 19.

Each 50-lap race will pay $1,500 to win, $1,000 for second and $750 for third.

The Super Late Models will be joined by the return of the School Bus Figure 8s.
There will be four regular divisions racing - Super Stocks, Thunder Trucks, Road Warriors and 4-Cylinders. Also returning to the Punta Gorda paved oval will be the Dwarf Cars.

Qualifying will begin at 6:30 p.m. and racing will start at 7 p.m.
Admission is $15 for adults and senior citizens. Children 6-11 will be charged $8 to enter this special event.
