BOONE, Iowa -- Drivers in three I.M.C.A. divisions accepting engine claims at sanctioned events this season will again have their choice of contingency awards from PTM Race Engines.
As a national sponsor for the Modified, Stock Car and Hobby Stock divisions, PTM will award claimed drivers a $100 product certificate good toward the purchase of a new engine, or a $50 product certificate that can be used to purchase a short block or set of cylinder heads.
The Boone, Iowa, engine builder introduced the program when it became an I.M.C.A. sponsor last year.
“Based on the success of this program in 2003, PTM has renewed its commitment to all claimed drivers in our Modified, Stock Car and Hobby Stock divisions,” I.M.C.A. Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “The addition of PTM Race Engines has been very beneficial to our organization and we hope our drivers think of them the next time they begin putting a motor together.” Drivers will receive product certificates, mailed from the I.M.C.A. home office, after the race report is sent in by the track where the claim was made.
PTM opened its doors for business in the fall of 2002 and is located adjacent to Boone Speedway. Along with a custom machine shop, PTM also retails parts for short track race cars.
Information about PTM-manufactured engines and services is available at the www.ptmraceengines.com website or by calling (515) 433-4490.
