Adirondack International Speedway Becomes First New York ASA Member Track

PENDLETON, Ind. (January 20, 2004) - New York's Adirondack International Speedway, located in New Bremen, has signed an agreement with the American Speed Association Member Track program for the 2004 season. Adirondack is the first track from New York to join the expanding ASA Member Track program.

"The ASA Member Track program will bring national exposure to Adirondack in 2004," said Paul Lyndaker, promoter for Adirondack International Speedway. "Having the support of ASA will be a tremendous asset in continuing to grow our speedway. It will be
a big plus for the track and our drivers."

Adirondack International Speedway is located in northern New York, approximately 90 miles north of Syracuse and offers several different racing classes. Featured divisions include: Late Models, True Stocks, 358 Dirt/Asphalt, 4 Cylinder Dig Safelys, Legend Cars and Lite Trucks. The track, nestled in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains, has seating capacity for 10,000 making it the largest New York motorsports facility.

The birth of Adirondack began in the winter of 1994 with search for large adjoining plots of land. In 1996, seven plots of land were combined for a total of 980 acres. Paving of the .25-mile, .50-mile and the pit areas were completed in July, 2001 with the track
hosting its first event in 2002. The future plans of the facility include a one-mile oval to host nationally touring events.

"Having a track from New York state, in the Adirondacks and the market of Syracuse, is a plus for the ASA Member Track program," said Dennis Huth, ASA Member Track program director. "Paul, through a lot of pride and energy, continues to expand the facility for the comfort of the fans, competitors and sponsors."

The ASA Member Track program is designed for weekly short track venues to make available many of the policies, principles, procedures and components that have made the American Speed Association a premier short track sanctioning body for 36 years.

Participating tracks receive contributions to their year-end points fund, marketing opportunities, and join a small, select group of elite tracks displaying the ASA Member Track logo.

ASA Member Tracks showcase exciting competition with their local racing programs, providing training grounds for the ASA Racing stars of tomorrow. Through the ASA Member Track program, "We Build Champions. "

The American Speed Association offers racing on three levels: ASA National Tour, ASA Late Model Series and through the rapidly expanding ASA Member Track program. For additional information, visit www.asaracing.com.
