| Tuesday, December 16, 2003 | | O'Reilly SAS Dirt Series Honors 2003 Awards Winners | HUNTSVILLE, AL—The O’Reilly SAS Dirt Racing Series held it’s 20th Annual Series awards banquet At Thunderworld USA in Knoxville, TN., which honored the 2003 and first four time series champion Clint Smith of Senoia, GA., as well as the 2003 BTW/Late Model America/Body Built Fabrication Rookie of the Year Jeff Cooke of Spartanburg, SC.
Series President B J Parker announced that is was not going to sell his series despite rumors and that it was business as usual for the upcoming 2004 season and that the 2004 schedule would be released in the near future. The opening date for the series will be on Saturday & Sunday afternoon March 6-7 at the Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, SC., a 75 lap $10,000 to win event.
