USCS announces partial "Asphalt Thunder" 2004 schedule

Atlanta, GA - The United Sprint Car Series has announced some of the dates that will be on the forth coming 2004 USCS "Asphalt Thunder" Tour winged outlaw sprint cars on pavement schedule. The series will return to Lanier National Speedway for two events, Senoia Speedway for two events, Hickory Motor Speedway, Mobile International Speedway, and Five Flags Speedway. The series will also visit New River Valley Speedway for the first time on May 1. Although scheduling is still in progress with some of the returning tracks and new one's the 2004 "Asphalt Thunder" Tour is scheduled to conclude with the 2004 season championship event at the all new South GeorgiaMotor Sports Park on Friday and Saturday, October 15-16th.

USCS President and Founder, Pete Walton said, "We are announcing the dates we will run asphalt events on even though we are still finalizing some of the events. We wanted everyone to be able to be able to adjust work schedules and other obligations for our schedule and I know the earlier the better on this kind of info. We will have a complete schedule of approximately 16 to 18 events and expect to announce a completed pavement series schedule over the Holidays," Walton concluded.
