| Monday, November 24, 2003 | | | Gray collects 3rd USCS and 10th National Touring Series Title | Atlanta, GA. - The "Bartlett Bullet or Bandit" whichever you prefer, Terry Gray from Bartlett, Tennessee, collected his tenth sprint car National touring series title and most of the United Sprint Car Series loot along with the six foot National Champion's trophy at "High Noon" on Saturday at the USCS Champions Luncheon Awards ceremony held at the Special Events Center in the Atlanta suburban city of Newnan.
Gray's short stay in town yielded the World Of Outlaws original top ten member a pretty big haul including close to $16,000 in cash and merchandise awards. In addition to his 10h National title and 3rd USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour Championship in a row, Gray captured the crown for the 20 race USCS Dirt Series and finished in second place behind fellow Sprint Car Hall of Fame 2003 Driver of the Year candidate, Kenny Adams from Malabar, Florida in the 12 race USCS Asphalt Thunder Tour pavement title chase.
The potent but consistent veteran Gray, used 8 USCS A Main event victories and 28 top five finishes in 32 USCS events to lead the points chase at season's end. He also finished in second place 13 times and won the prestigious $5,000 to win, USCS Airflow Research Super Power Dash at Volusia Speedway Park in October.
