USCS "Asphalt Thunder" point standings as of 8/21

Atlanta, GA - Kenny Adams from Malabar, Florida leads the USCS "Asphalt Thunder" points leader with 1624 points after eleven events. Defending USCS "Asphalt Thunder" champion, Terry Gray of Bartlett, Tennessee trials Adams just sixty points backwith 1566. USCS paved track only racer Ted Williams from Atlanta, Georgia has moved into third place with a total of 1518 points after strong finishes at Huntsville Speedway and Senoia Speedway. Third year USCS driver, Aubrey Black from Lookout Mountain, Georgia is holding down the fourth place position with 1472 points, only two points ahead of 2003 Ace Speedway "Asphalt Thunder" winner Jim Raptis from Marietta, Georgia, who fell two positions from third after a blown engine caused him to miss a 50 point heat race oppurtunity at Senoiaon August 9th.

USCS National Top Rookiepoints leader, 18 year old rookie driver Chase Taylor from Montgomery, Texas, heads the second five drivers which includes: Randy Weaver who has sat out two races after a crash at Dixie Speedway on dirt in seventh, Chris Hill from Wedowee, Alabama in eighth, Chris Rogers from Villa Rica, Georgia in ninthand Buford, Georgia's Jim MacKenzie in tenth.

The next USCS "Asphalt Thunder" points opportunity for these drivers comes at Lanier National Speedway on Saturday, August 30th during the Dodge USCS Sprint Car Finals.
