| USCS "Alabama Outlaw Nationals" Winged Sprint Car Weekend at Green Valley Speedway Friday and Saturday 8/15 and 8/16 | Glencoe, AL - Green Valley Speedway in Glencoe, Alabama, which has become one of the USCS driver favorite tracks, will host two full nights of United Sprint Car Series www.uscsracing.com winged Outlaw sprint car racing on Friday night August 15th and Saturday night August 16th. Friday's USCS sprint car format will feature time trials, heat races and a 20 lap preliminary main event paying $1500 to win. All Friday night events will also accumulate points toward Saturday nights starting positions. Saturday nights format will include a special $200 to win Airflow Research Power Dash, heat races and a 30 lap main event paying $2500 to win. In addition there will be racing in the Green Valley stock car divisions both nights. Further details have been mailed out and more info will be released on Wednesday.
The 4/10 mile clay oval located just South of Gadsden has become one of the USCS drivers favorites because of it's sweeping corners, great lighting and wide racing surface. The track has been steadily improved over the last four years and has great pit facilities as well. Green Valley Speedway is located two miles South of Glencoe ( just South of Gadsden) on US 431 then 4 miles Southwest of on Green Valley Road. The Best Western Inn & Suites at 205 Enterprise Drive, (Highway 77 & I-59), Gadsden, AL is the 'Official host hotel for the USCS event and will offer their $75.00 a night rooms to USCS teams for $58.00 + tax. Racers and fans need to ask for the "racer rate" or the "USCS rate". The Best Western is located just off exit 181on I-59 near the Cracker Barrel and Ruby Tuesday's.
