| Lowe's Motor Speedway Backs Zeck for Jennerstown | ]Concord, N.C. (August 4, 2003) — As part of its promotional campaign for the UAW-GM Quality 500 NASCAR Winston Cup race Saturday night, October 11, Lowe’s Motor Speedway will sponsor 27-year-old Ryan Zeck in the August 16 Pennsylvania 250 American Speed Association stock car event at Jennerstown Speedway.
“Pennsylvania is a very important market for our NASCAR events and sponsoring Ryan in this race gives us the opportunity to remind Keystone State fans and a national television audience that both the ‘Little Trees’ 300 Busch race and the UAW-GM Quality Winston Cup event are moving to night this October,” said H.A. “Humpy” Wheeler, president and general manager of Lowe’s Motor Speedway.
Zeck, who resides in nearby Harrisburg, N.C., is a veteran of Lowe’s Motor Speedway’s Summer Shootout Series and is currently locked in a torrid three-way battle for the series’ Thunder Roadster championship.

His father, Rudy, heads the Lowe’s Motor Speedway Research and Development department. The Zeck Motorsports ASA operation is based on speedway property in the building that once housed Darrell Waltrip’s NASCAR Busch Series team.
The Pennsylvania 250, is being televised live on SPEED Channel and will be Zeck’s fifth career ASA appearance. He has three top-10 finishes in just four starts, including an eighth-place showing earlier this season at Missouri’s I-70 Speedway.
The team’s No. 95 Pontiac Grand Prix will carry the UAW-GM Quality 500 logo on its hood with the track’s toll-free ticket number, 1-800-455-FANS, on the rear quarter panels during the Pennsylvania 250.
