I have probably spent hours in front of this computer, trying to find the words to pay homage to Bill. Bill was truly one in a million. As a wrecker driver I had towed him off the track, just a time or two. He would always ride in the truck. And he would always be laughing, as Karla said, it was " just racing ". He would tell me, " don't you dent my car". The only time he wouldn't smile, is when I teased him about needing a hair cut. When I started driving the pace car, he was on the pole the first time I paced a figure 8 race. He had a good laugh about that, said he couldn't believe Bonnie let me drive her car. Then he told me to make sure I got out of the way quick, because he was coming thru. I could go on and on, but you get the idea. God Bless You "Wild" Bill, you will be truly missed. For Mom, Karla, and Billy Jr., May God comfort and provide strength during these trying times. you are in my heart and prayers, God Bless.
