I'm James' girlfriend and, on Saturday night, I was walking around thinking that everybody would blame him and hate him for at least a little while. I stayed with him Saturday night and there's one thing he said on our way home that sticks out in my mind : "Why couldn't it have been me?" This question has been troubling me. I have realized that everyone at the track has nothing but love for James and he really appreciates and needs your support. He will carry the memory of Wild Bill on as long as he lives, in his heart.
