Along the way in life, you meet a few people that impress you as great folks just to know. Bill Revard was one of those folks. I had only known Bill for 5 or 6 months. We met often after the races, at our favorite spot. And along with all our friends, we swapped stories of racing, life with kids and the occasional dirty joke. Wild Bill Revard would send you an Email joke, and laugh, knowing that you were laughing at it too. He'd take time to listen to what you had to say, then in that Revard fasion, tell you his take on the situation or story. Often he'd be found playing pool with his son, or just enjoying his company. Never asking to much, only taking his fair share, but always racing to win. Wild Bill Revard WILL be remembered. We his friends, his family, will insure that such a man of honor and principles, does not pass without proper identification. We, his extended racing family, have just begun a process, that will take each one of us through depths of dispare, and hopefully through tales and stories approching folk lore. He will be missed, He must be remembered. Let us lean on each other, hold each other alittle tighter and that split second longer, remembering, that but for the grace of God go I.
