| FASCAR Welcomes New Marketing Director/Competion Director | (08.24.08) FASCAR is pleased to announce the hiring of Joe Lewandoski as Marketing Director for both New Smyrna Speedway and Orlando Speedworld. Lewandsoki brings with him over 20 years experience in Motorsports Marketing including stints with NASCAR and several racing facilities throughout the U.S., most recently, Lake Erie Speedway (PA) and Tri-County (NC) Speedway.
For Lewandoski, working at New Smyrna Speedway has been a goal for some time, and he is looking forward to opening up new opportunities here in Florida for not just himself, but for both venues.

The entire FASCAR Family would like to welcome him with open arms and we look forward to him bringing both tracks to another level in the Motorsports Entertainment industry.
Butch Pierce, who has been a familiar face with FASCAR for many years has been promoted to Competition Director for both Orlando Speedworld and New Smyrna Speedway.
Both Pierce and Lewandoski have said that it will be business as usual for the remainder of the 2008 racing season, but have invited any and all questions that anyone may have.
