| A Championship Run in Focus Next for Ryan Crane Racing | Panama City, FL 4/7/08- Just a season ago Ryan Crane and his Ryan Crane Racing team tied for the Blizzard series championship with fellow competitor Scott Carlson but had to settle for the runner-up spot as Carlson was declared the winner due to winning race three and four in the five race series compared to Crane’s week in and week out consistency. But that seemed to never faze Crane as he took home the Snowflake 100 pro late model race during the 40th Annual Snowball Derby weekend in dominating fashion. So now in 2008 Crane has two goals he wants his Ryan Crane Racing team focused on; one, winning the 2008 Blizzards series championship and two, ending the ‘08 season in victory lane at the 41st Annual Snowball Derby. The first chance Crane has to start on those goals will come this weekend as Blizzard race one of five gets underway at the Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida. “Last season, especially towards the end of the year we really ran well at Pensacola (Five Flags Speedway) and have already ran there once and finished third in a pro late model race back in March so we expect to come out pretty strong right off the bat and contend for the win. I have Mike Garvey back helping us out again this year and the way the both of us work together we really feel this may be our best late model season ever,” said Crane. Something or someone new to the Ryan Crane Racing team this season will be Microtel & Quality Inn-Pensacola West as they have signed on board as an associate sponsor for the five race Blizzard series season. Both hotels are located within two miles of the Five Flags Speedway on Lavelle Way near the Cracker Barrel, and will be offering racers and fans alike that mention “Ryan Crane Racing” or “Five Flags Speedway” a special rate of $62.00 per night at either location. “It’s great to have companies and people like Bettyann Reitz from Microtel & Quality Inn-Pensacola West that support short track racing. I can’t thank them enough for their support here in ’08 and look forward to a great relationship. Hopefully we can be spending some time with them in victory lane this season,” said Crane, the Florida State University alumni.
