by Jane Smith

Samsula, Fla (December 10, 2003) Saturday, December 13, at the Elks Lodge in Titusville the 2003 Champions for the Team FASCAR Sunbelt Super Late Model Series, Goodyear Challenge Late Model Series, and Pro Modified Series will take center stage. Each being honored for all their hard work in 2003 and coming out on top as the new Champions.

Wayne Anderson of Wildwood had high hopes of winning not only the Sunbelt Super Late Model Series in 2003 but also the Florida Pro Series. Anderson saw half of his dream come true as he will be crowned the 2003 Sunbelt Super Late Model Champion. Right behind Anderson is the 2003 Florida Pro Champion and second in points in the Sunbelt Super Late Model Series, Jay Middleton.

James Powell stands third with Fain Skinner in fourth who also won the Rookie of the Year honors. Barry Willoughby comes in fifth with Aric Almirola in sixth. Jonny Kay, Jacob Warren, Michael Williams and David Rogers complete the top ten.

Jerry Symons won his second Pro Mod Championship in a row taking home that honor in 2002 also. Coming in right behind Symons was Alan McCafferty who proved to be quite a competitor for Symons.
Skip Honaker is third with Jim "Hoot" Flynn in fourth and Bryan Campbell, winner of the 100 lap race on November 29th, in fifth.

Jason Boyd, Alan Bruns, Red Vann, Lee Collins and Raymond Vann complete the top ten. Taking home the Rookie of the Year honors is Matt Wheeler.

Jerry Artuso of Ontario, Canada and Rich Clouser of Palm Bay took the Goodyear Challenge Late Model Series Championship down to the wire. With both receiving damage in the last race, it was Artuso winning his first Championship by just a few points over Clouser. But taking home the Rookie of the Year honors will be Rich Clouser.

Coming in third is Larry Osteen followed by Sean Murphy and Steve Smith. Brent O'Neill, Jason Boyd, Joe Sumasky, Jimmy Castleberry and Brad May complete the top ten.

The Sunbelt Super Late Model Series, Goodyear Challenge Late Model Series and Pro Modified banquet will begin at 6 p.m. until 1 a.m. Tickets are available at the door at $25.00 per person.
