Racer and Fan Appreciation Day at DeSoto Speedway

Bradenton, Fl. - December 6th 2003 the gates will open at 10 am for the first ever Racer and Fan Appreciation day as racers and fans are invited from across the state to get a feel of DeSoto Super Speedway!

The speedway is inviting racers from not only DeSoto but from all tracks and all classes to get a feel for the track and to meet the owners and officials. Entrance to both the pits and grandstands are free for the whole day. Tires and fuel will be available and concessions will be open and there will be free test and tune for the whole day for everyone! The fans are also invited to meet the drivers up close and personal and to meet the staff of DeSoto Speedway.

There will also be a swap meet for all forms of racing, oval, drag, street rods and vendor space is free. The 2004 race schedule will be announced. There are a lot of new things on the slate for next year so make sure you make it out and hear it first hand.

There will also be Door Prizes given away including 2 season passes valued at $1200.

DeSoto Speedway is located nine miles east of Bradenton on State Road 64.
