Keith Butler Charges from 12th to Win at Charlotte County Speedway

by Larry Lype
This was the second of three visits to the Charlotte County Speedway this season for the TBARA Winged Sprint Series. Three heats had as winners Jim Childers, Shane Miller, and Stan Butler. Their heat race wins made them eligable for the Barfield Clean Sweep bonus if any of these three drivers could win the feature. The fans were treated so great racing action all around the speedway, as the feature ran green to checker. When the checkered flag flew, Keith Buler had charged up from his 12th place starting position to win. Along with winning the feature, Keith also won the Eagle Jet - GMS Motorsports Hard Charger Bonus. Last weeks winner Shane Miller was second, Wayne Reutimann was third, Dude Teate was fourth and Stan Butler was fifth. The next TBARA Winged Sprint Series race will be at Hiaeah Speedway on November 3rd.
