| THUNDER RUMBLED AT THUNDER CROSS | Sept 22, 2000 OKEECHOBEE, FLORIDA - It was a great night of racing and entertainment last Saturday at Thunder Cross Motorsports Park. The stands were filled with families for a Kids Night Free with great anticipation of the Gun Slinger Monster Truck. When the ground started rumbling everyone new that it was the "Thunder of the Monster Engine" and the magnificant 9500 lb., Ford gigantic truck powering its way onto the Thunder Cross track. To everyones enjoyment Scott Hartsock, Owner & Driver, proceeded to amaze the crowd with the Gun Slinger Monster truck by driving over top of cars, jumping cars, and showing the power of this thunderous engine.
In other great Saturday Night events, the 75 Lap Sportsman race brought this tough, competitive class to an all out shoot-out for the $750 TO WIN finish. To the dismay of some of the beginning leaders the 75 laps proved to take a toll on their cars. With 12 cars starting, only 5 made it to the checkered.
