ORANGE COUNTY RACEWAY RESULT FOR 3/4/2000

FOUR CYLINDER BOMBER JRS.

1. 1 -ROBBIE GAUTHIER JR.

After running previous couple of weeks with the regular 4 cylinder bombers
and even winning one of the races the regulars felt uncomfortable running
with a 13 year old and asked that the rules be followed. The rules state
that to drive in any other class than the junior class you must be 16 years
old and management agreed that rules are there for a reason. Robbie reallly
did put on a show.

FOUR CYLINDER BOMBERS

1. 44 - BOBBY ROBILLARD
2. 63 - JASON HENDERSON
3. 45 - BRETT BECKHORN
4. 51 - DUKE DRAKE

Bobby Robillard and Jason Henderson exchanged the lead several times
throughout the race with Robillard coming out on top coming to the flag.

THUNDER/SPORTSMAN

1. 2 - DAVID KING
2. 4 - BILL BETCHAN
3. 51 - EDDIE HITCHCOCK

Eddie Hitchcock hit the track with his new car , he had a few handling
problems but looked real good for his first week. David King continues his
winning streak with a real strong run from Bill Betchan who continues his
challange to make the front spot his.

These guys were way too serious tonight. They started beating and banging in
the heat race and that spilled over to the feature. The trick to winning
tonight was survival. The guy who kept from being spun and kept his nose
clean finished up front. A wild race from start to finish.
