4th Annual Charity Truckers 200 Raises $21,315.33 | CARS MARKETING MEDIA
Orlando, FL (December 7, 2009) For those who were not able to attend last weekend's 4th Annual Charity Truckers 200 presented by Fountain Motorsports at Orlando SpeedWorld, you missed a great event. In spite of having to change the schedule at the last minute due to rain, fans and racers were not disappointed in the event.
Founder Rick Bristol had to make a tough decision on Thursday after checking with the local weatherman about Friday's inclement weather coming in. As it turned out, he made the right call as Friday saw plenty of the wet stuff much of the day.
Said a very tired but happy Rick Bristol, "I really want to thank all of the drivers, crews, fans, officials and sponsors for their tremendous support of the 4th Annual Charity Truckers 200, FFH Concert and Golf Tournament this year. While we learned a lot this year attempting our first golf tournament and concert, the main portion of what we raised was the Charity Truckers 200 weekend". "I really want to thank Gary Fountain (Fountain Motorsports), Ronnie Laing (Biscayne Roofing), Mike Sergi (MJS ConcreteInc.) , Joe Coulter (Coulter Motorsports), Phil Guadagno (Aaron's), Alan Bruns (Bruns Inc. General Contractors), Doug Webb (Webb's Commercial Services) and McCutchen Farms for being sponsors of the event. To all the award sponsors and lap sponsors thank you so much". "Our total raised for this year is $21, 315.33 each family will receive $7,105.11".
"I want to thank my Lord for blessing our events and using me to help others, it is such a blessing to be able to help people. To all my friends, family, officials who donated their time to work I can only say in words thank you from the bottom of my heart. You all will never know how much you mean to me. I pray a special blessing for each of you this Christmas and wish you a happy new year. May 2010 be better for many families who are hurting. God Bless ".
Bristol is already hard at work planning the 5th Annual Charity Truckers 200. Have an opinion on
