Team FASCAR presents IceBuster 2003 on February 22 and 23

Samsula, Fla - After a long run of 9 nights of racing action, New Smyrna Speedway is gearing backup for the IceBuster 2003 on Saturday and Sunday, February 22nd and 23rd. The 50 lap Super Late Model race will pay $5,000 to win.

Also on the card for Sunday's racing action will be Super Stocks, Mini Stocks and Strictly Stocks.

Entry fee for the Super Lates will be $100 with $200 paid to start race. 2401 Goodyear tires are $50.00 each and 4 tires can be bought in advance and more may be purchased on race day.

All drivers who ran the last Team FASCAR event at USA International Speedway in Lakeland, FL, get FREE tires. James Powell III, David Rogers, Dick Anderson, Aric Amirola, Mike Williams, Brian Finney, Richard Pratt, Jacob Warren, Bruce Lawrence, Bobby Beauchemin, Mike Good, Jeff Scofield, George Murphy, Ken Genena, Jay Middleton, Eric Black, Mike Fritts, Jonny Kay, Mac Johnson, Mike Staggs, Keith Zavrel, Tommy King, Barry Willoughby, Scott Crockett, David Froelich, and Chad Pierce are eligible for free tires.

Pit gates will open at 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 22 for open practice and a party from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. On Sunday, February 23, pit gates open at 8 a.m. with qualifying at l p.m. followed by racing action at 2 p.m.

Rick Bristol will be the guest announcer for the warm-up to the opening of the Team FASCAR Sunbelt Super Late Model Series on March 14 at Ocala Speedway followed by March 15 at Bronson Motor Speedway.

New Smyrna Speedway is located 10 miles south of Daytona between I-4 (Exit 56 East) and I-95 (Exit 84 West) to the intersection of S.R. 44 and 415 or south of Daytona Flea Market on S.R. 415 south to S.R. 44.
